Hi everyone. This is my first blog and I would like to share my memories and views with all. Well to break the ice let me tell you about my experience of vocational training at Bangalore.
We were told by the college profs. that we had to do Vocational Training (VT) at anyplace, to improve our practical insight of the industries. Many of my friends thought of doing it from some fargee place. But the bug of seriousness bit me. And I thought no fargeepana by going to some local place.
My father had some contacts with bhel and hence I thought of doing my VT from there. Bhel had their electronics division at bangalore and so I decided to go there. Luckily for me, the bug was also there in two of my friends who decided to go with me. Needless to ask, I was glad that atleast I would be able to pass my time had the VT gone boring. So the VT for me turned out to be a Vacational Tour.
We were first told that the training would start after a month or so(after our Fourth semester exams). But then we were informed that the training had started and we are required to join as soon as possible and the training mentioned to us before was for other purpose. And then we quickly packed our bag and got ready to go. But the main problem was to get the train reservations. In such a short notice there were no direct train seats available. But thanks to mobile-phone services and Indian railways web site, we did manage to find a train route although not direct one but via Hyderabad. But after that it was all fun.
Well I think this is sufficient for today and I will post next part of me @ banglore tomorrow.
Ok bye till then.
